Miro20Summit LogoThe Miro Summit is an exceptional opportunity for members of your leadership team to be challenged, provoked, and informed by taking them out of their day-to-day jobs.

In today’s economy, running successful businesses takes more than excellent business skills. It increasingly requires an in-depth understanding of the political, regulatory and international environment in which businesses operate.

At The New Zealand Initiative, the public policy think tank supported by chief executives, we know how important it is to link the worlds of business and politics. This is why each year we host The Miro Summit - A business forum on public policy.

The Miro Summit is our conference for emerging business leaders. It aims to achieve two goals:

  •   To challenge aspiring business leaders to think about social and economic issues.
  •   To allow plenty of networking opportunities between delegates, speakers and members of The New Zealand Initiative.

Last year’s Miro Summit was held on 26/27 September 2013 at The Spencer on Byron Hotel in Takapuna, Auckland. It once again brought together highly relevant topics and exceptional speakers.  The speakers were:
